  • 9 - Place an advert
    9.1 - How can I register an advert?

    To file an advert on www.location-et-vacances.com, click on the dark red tab  « File an advert » at the top right on each website page, under the banner.

    Then follow the instructions stage by stage.
    9.2 - How can I modify my advert ?
    To modify or add to your advert when it's online, log in to your member area.
    To do this, fill in your username "your email  address" and indicate your password.
    9.3 - Who can submit an advert?

    Anybody with a property situated in France or abraodLocation et vacances  brings together holiday rentals from individual and professional owners.

    9.4 - How long does it take to submit an advert?
    About 20 minutes: it depends of the content of your advert (number of photos, length and precise descriptions…). All the information you circulate can be modified and/or added to thereafter at any time, through your member area.
    9.5 - What description may I put in my advert?
    When you submit your advert, examples are given to help you. Be clear and precise. Description should not be too short, nor too long. Specify the town where the property is located, facilities, surrounding activities and tourist sites to visit, large towns and main roads in the area.
    9.6 - How long does it take to put my advert online?

    After payment, your advert is checked by our team before being put online on our website. This validation cannot be automatic, it requiresa  human check to protect the L&V website and ensure good editorial quality. Any advertiser is responsible for the truth of information (for more details you can consult our Terms and conditions of use).

    Adverts are published in under 24 hours on working days (from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm), after receipt of your payment.

    The subscription period begins only when the advert is put online.

    The L&V validation service is open from monday to friday from 10am -12.00pm and 1.30pm - 5pm.

    9.7 - What are the advert prices and for how long are they availables?

    a) If you are an individual owner: 

    69 Subscription: Pack Classique 12 months' publication.

    89 Subscription: Pack Premium12 months' publication.

     

    b) If you are a professional:

    Many packages are at your disposal, you can consult them by clicking on "file an advert" --> " Professional registration".

    9.8 - Do we receive an invoice?

    After receipt of payment and validation of your advert, your invoice is available on your member area.

    9.9 - How to renew?

    When your subscription reaches its expiry date, we invite you to renew your advert. Three emails will be sent for you to do this at: - 30, - 15 and - 7 days. 

     

    At any time, you have the possibility to renew your advert: you have to connect to your member area → my adverts → renew then follow instructions.

  • 10 - Photos management
    10.1 - What are the technical characteristics to respect (file size, etc)?

    Maximum Size: 1Mo, format jpg; jpeg; gif; png in capital or lower case letters. However, ensure that your photos are of good quality (sharpness, contrast, etc.).18 photos can be attached to your advert. Think to diversify (lounge, bedroom, outdoor…). To put them online, choose your photos on the menu "Browse" then click on "Send".

    If your photos are too large and you have no way to rework them, you can send them to us by email: photos@location-et-vacances.com

    If you haven't got digital photos, send us your photos on paper, as indicated in your registration (Pay option). Don't forget to attach a stamped envelope so that we can return them.

    10.2 - How can I modify my photos?
    Log in to your member area → my advert → photos. You can cancel, replace, or add up to 18 photos. All modified content is verified by L&V before being put online.

    23.1 - Modification of your personal details

    Here, you'll find all your personnal details. You can modify your information at any time, except your email address used for identification.

    You have the possibility to hide your phone number, if you wish to be contacted only by email.

    23.2 - Newsletter

    You can subscribe to our Newsletter to receive free new information concerning L&V. This option can be disactivated at any time!

     

     

     

    L&V respects the privacy of its members:

    27.1 - How can I create my schedule?

    Your schedule is created upon subscription of your advert on L&V location vacances.

    week schedule is automatically created for your rental, you have to fill in the price table according to the different periods indicated:

    Very high season ; High season ; Middle seasonLow season.

    After validation of your advert by our services, you can generate weekend and night cscedules, logging in on your member area.

    29.1 - Your adverts

    On this page, you'll find the summary of information concerning your differents adverts:

     which provide you access to change your advert.

    - Main photo of your property.

    - The reference.

    - The locality and the departement.

    - The accommodation capacity.

    - Added date and expiry date.

    - The number of visits.

    - Requests.

    You have the possibily to file one or more additional adverts.

    29.2 - Descriptions

    You can visualize, modify, or add to indoor/ outdoor descriptions and the tourist commentary concerning your holiday rental.

    29.3 - Additional information

    Here you'll find a list of multiple criteria which help you to add additional information about your holiday rental:

    - Location, Furniture, Multimedia, Outdoor...

    29.4 - Photos

    a) What are the technical characteristics to be met (file size...)? 

    Maximum: 350 Kb, format jpg; jpeg; gif; png in capital or lower case letters.     b) How can I modify my photos?

    You can add a title and a description for each photo then save your modifications. All modified content is checked by L&V before being put online.

     

    29.5 - Schedule

    To modify your schedule, you have to select your advert! You'll have access to the tab « schedule » in which you can change this!

    Price Table

     

    The week schedule is activated automatically (to be used for search engines).

    Weekend and night schedules can be activated according to your wishes.

    A colour code is assigned to each rental period « Very high season» « high season » « middle season » and « low season », you can apply a different price for each of the above periods. These colour codes corresponding to a price will appear according to your wishes on your calendar.

    The "Very high season" is the period where the requests are higher, so the price to apply is the highest.

    The period prices are set according to your convenience. To help you, it is possible to see the prices of equivalent offers.

    Don't forget to register your modifications.

    NOTE: Each upgrade of your schedule allows your advert to move further up the list and be more visible!

     

    The schedule

    Your schedule can be pre-filled over 2 years.

    Week schedule

    Choose the colour code corresponding to the price you want to apply, click on the coloured square in the week box.

    If you want to put up your prices by month, you can apply the colour code, click on the coloured square in the month box.

    Same for Weekend schedule.

    To change the schedule, click on « week », « weekend » or « night » in the price table.

    How to update when I rent?

    On your schedule, click on  in the corresponding box to the week that you have rented. A window « Dates management » opens. Check the box « rented » and save. Your week will be displayed and then appear unavailable on your schedule.

    How can I make a promotion ?

    If you wish to make a promotion for a rental period, click on  in the corresponding box. The window « Dates management » opens. Choose in promotion, the percentage of reduction that you want to apply from 5% to 50% and save.

    The reduced price will be displayed for the promotional period that you have chosen on your schedule, with the percentage of reduction applied, in backets.

    29.6 - Down payment/ Deposit/ Guarantee
    What is the difference between  down payment and deposit?

    Deposits provide an opportunity to the tenant and the lessor to withdraw. If the tenant decide to cancel the rental while the deposit has been paid, this will be retained by the lessor as compensation for damages. Otherwise, if it's the lessor that breaks the contract before the tenant is to arrive at the property, article 1590 of the Civil Code then forces them to pay to the tenant double the amount of advance deposit put down.

    In contrast with a deposit, the down payment is a definite commitment from both sides. If the tenant wants to cancel his contract, the lessor can claim the full rent provided or the money corresponding to the period during which the accommodation cannot be rented. Inversely, if the lessor wants to cancel the contract, the tenant may require compensation for moral and material damages, to the extent that this decision compromises his stay and can cause him additional expense.

    Guarantee

    Upon arrival of the tenant, a guarantee can be required. This will be reimbursed at the end of the stay, after an inventory and examination of the holiday rental. The guarantee can't be more than 20% of the rental price.
    29.7 - Statistics

    On this page, you can find all the statistics for your advert:

    - number of people who have visited your page.

    - statistics display for your advert ( new, visibilité+...).

    29.8 - Renewal of subscription

    When your subscription reaches the end of its validity, we invite you to renew your advert. 3 emails will be sent to you, enabling you to do this, at : - 30, - 15 and - 7 days. 

     

    At any time, you have the possibilty to renew by logging to your owner area → my advert → renew then follow instructions.

    29.9 - Pack de visites
    Pour une meilleure visibilité de votre annonce, vous pouvez choisir de l’activer sur le premier comparateur de location de vacances, LOCATION VACANCES EXPRESS, et sur ses sites partenaires. Pour cela, il vous suffit de sélectionner un pack de visites garanties qui sera crédité sur votre compte propriétaire. Vous pourrez, à tout moment, consulter dans vos statistiques le solde de crédit de visites et décider, quand ce solde est bas, de recommander un nouveau pack de visites pour alimenter votre compte. Vous pouvez choisir les périodes sur lesquelles vous souhaitez affecter ces visites garanties, à condition que les semaines sélectionnées soient disponibles. Si vous disposez de plusieurs annonces, vous pouvez décider d’attribuer ces visites garanties à tout ou partie de vos annonces. Cette gestion se fait directement dans votre compte propriétaire. Dans le cas où votre annonce arriverait à expiration, l’éventuel solde de visites créditeur, sera reporté sur votre compte lors du renouvellement. L’utilisation de ce pack de visites ne peut se faire que sur une annonce active.
